Jewelry care
The right care depends on how your piece is made
Metal, stones, enamel, darkened finishes, texture, raised details, and settings all change how a piece should be cleaned and worn. Always follow the care instructions that come with your order.
Cleaning
Use a soft cloth and, when approved for the piece, mild soap with lukewarm water. Avoid ultrasonic, steam, chemical dips, abrasives, and polishing compounds unless the instructions specifically allow them.
Storage
Store clean and dry, separated from other jewelry. Protect raised forms, stone settings, enamel, and intentionally oxidized surfaces from rubbing.
Inspection
Check stones, settings, bails, chains, clasps, and raised details periodically. Prompt contact can prevent a small issue from becoming a loss.
Finish changes
Scratches, patina, oxidation change, and polish wear can be normal. Refinishing may change engraving, texture, plating, oxidation, or crisp edges.
