Price and design
What does custom character jewelry cost?
Most character commissions fall between $1,500–$3,500. Simpler engraved or symbolic work begins at $900. Full sculptural character jewelry generally begins at $2,700; gold, platinum, extensive enamel, larger scale, and exceptional complexity can exceed those ranges.
Does it cost anything to ask?
No. Send the references and details you have. I will reply with an estimated price range and schedule before there is any design fee.
What does the $250 design fee include?
It is credited to the finished piece and includes one initial concept plus up to two revision rounds. It becomes non-refundable after design work begins.
What is one revision round?
It is one collected list of changes after you review the current design. A new direction, another concept, or changes beyond the included rounds may affect the price or timing. I will explain that before adding any cost.
What will I approve?
You approve the sketch and final price. If the project uses CAD or another detailed production design, you approve that before casting or materials are purchased.

Who, when, and where
Who completes the work?
I handle the planning, design direction, customer communication, and approvals. Established U.S. jewelry specialists may help with sketching, CAD, casting, stone setting, engraving, enamel, polishing, or finishing.
How long does production take?
Every project is different, so there is no single number of weeks that fits every commission. You receive an estimated schedule before the design fee. Design changes, sourcing, specialist availability, and shipping can affect it. A deadline is guaranteed only if I accept it in writing.
Do you ship internationally?
Most orders ship within the United States. International shipping may be available depending on the destination. The carrier, available coverage, signature, customs, and cost must be confirmed in a written quote first.
Is there a showroom or pickup location?
No. Lunar Forgeworks is an Oregon-based online studio. Projects are managed from Salem; there is no public showroom, public studio, or customer pickup location. Portland is used only for official business mailing.
What warranty applies?
A one-year limited warranty covers qualifying material and workmanship defects. Depending on the case, the remedy may be repair, remake, or refund. Wear, accidents, misuse, loss, unauthorized work, and material behavior outside workmanship are excluded.
